Finance Committee

The Finance Committee of RHA (Residence Hall Administration) oversees the monetary allowances to the residence halls on campus if they should need financial assistance in planning on-campus programming. Students will be able to work with budget proposals as well as how to manage funds properly.

Programming Committee

The Programming Committee creates, coordinates, and implements on-campus programming from the very start. Working with the Director they will help in the creation, design, coordination, and implementation of a campus-wide program. A challenging committee, students will learn what it takes to get their programming off the ground and the strategy to put on a successful event.

Public Relations & Marketing Committee

The PR and Marketing Committee creates creative material to engage the campus community in its events and other organizations. Utilizing social media and graphic design platforms, this committee aims to grab the attention of on-campus residents and inform them about the events happening in and around campus. Working closely with Programming, students will be able to help us with Programming behind the scenes and creating innovative and creative ways of engaging with students.

Civic Engagement

(TBD in November)

The Civic-Engagement Committee of RHA is dedicated to being the primary resource of Civic-Engagement opportunities for residence in residence halls at Syracuse University. The Civic-Engagement Committee acts as a liaison between RSOs on campus that offer civic-engagement opportunities to students and seeks to allow RSOs to have more of a presence in residence halls. Our purpose is to be the primary resource of civic-engagement involvement and opportunities for all residents in the residence halls of Syracuse University and to educate, advocate and provide opportunities that will encourage the involvement and enlightenment of SU students.
