What is NRHH?

The Orange Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) at Syracuse University is accepting applications for membership!

NRHH is a national honor society focusing on leadership and  comprised of residential students who value service and recognition. Members of NRHH strive to advocate the interests and welfares of residence hall students and is a big proponent in recognizing individuals who have contributed to the advancements of residential housing. This includes administering Of the Month (OTM) awards, and End of the Year (EOY) awards. NRHH is nationally recognized by NACURH (National Association of College and University Residence Halls) and is affiliated regionally with NEACURH (North East Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls). NRHH works closely with Syracuse University’s campus Residence Hall Association (RHA).

Membership Requirements:

  • The student resides in campus housing during the academic year of selection.
  • The student has resided in campus housing for at least 1 full semester (Includes First Year Student).
  • The student shall have exhibited outstanding leadership and service to the campus.
  • The student will have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5.
